Eligible scholars are those in law, history and other disciplines pursuing research on legal history of any part of the world. ASLH accepts 12 early-career scholars (beginning faculty members, doctoral students who have, or almost, completed their dissertation, or J.D. graduates). Applications should include a cover letter, CV, research agenda (<2500 words), and two recommendation letters with the names and emails of those writing them.
