Eligible students must be enrolled in library school, law school, or information management school or equivalent during Fall 2020 or Spring 2021. Papers are typically be 30-40 pages, address any subject relevant to law librarianship, be scholarly or practical in substance and tone, but must explore the subject in depth.

Entrants need not be members of AALL and can include multi-author papers, but each author must meet student criteria. Papers or portions of papers published or accepted for publication before 3/1/2021 are not eligible. Email submissions to membership@aall.org in Word or PDF format.
