National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA)

Eligible individuals have either (1) provided extraordinary and successful legal advocacy to clients who could not otherwise afford it; (2) significantly advanced the cause of equal justice for clients or low-income communities; or (3) exemplify exceptional advocacy and leadership in the equal justice community.

Award recognizes the dedicated service and outstanding achievements of a civil legal aid or indigent defense attorney while employed by an organization supporting such services. *Only NLADA members are eligible to submit nominations.
