Awardees are untenured author(s) of a scholarly article judged to have made an important contribution in the field of comparative law. Eligible articles were published between July 1 and June 30 of the year prior to its presentation.

Nominations should include the full name, institutional affiliation, and contact information for the nominated scholar, in addition to a PDF version of the published article to be considered for the Prize.
